We realise that nobody likes to wait, and nobody likes to waste time. We take care that we adhere to our appointment schedule in a timely manner. We also make sure that we work efficiently during your appointment, so that you’re not left sitting and twiddling your thumbs while we deal with someone else.

Respect for your Budget 
We’re sensitive to your feelings about finances and that’s why we structure our fees to reflect actual time, materials and laboratory work required for treatment. Upon comparison you will find our charges to be exceedingly competitive without any compromise on the quality or standard of treatment delivered. We request that most accounts be settled at the end of your appointment. For more extensive complex treatments, we can arrange payment in stages.

Terms of Payment
Please note that we accept payment by cash, cheque or by credit and debit cards on the day of treatment or in pre-arranged installments for large courses of treatment.

Cleanliness and Safety
The well-being of our patients and team is paramount with the highest standards of hygiene maintained to ensure you are treated in safety and comfort. Our practice pays strict attention to cleanliness and sterilisation, following the latest cross infection guidelines. Ultrasonic cleaning and steam autoclave sterilisation of dental equipment are used routinely between patients, while many items are disposed of after each patient. We also aim to minimise the environmental impact of the practice.

Nervous Patients
If you’re fearful about visiting the dentist, please let us know. We have a number of  ways to help patients relax. We can prescribe oral sedation that can be used before dental procedures to make you feel more comfortable and relaxed.

Emergency Treatment
We’re well aware that dental emergencies require respect and immediate attention. That’s why we promise to do what we can to handle your dental emergencies promptly on the same day you call the practice, if at all possible. Please phone the practice as early on in the day as possible. Out of surgery hours please call the emergency number on the answer phone message or NHS direct.

Altering an appointment with a dentist
As long as we receive 24 hours notice (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays) we do not charge for altering an appointment with a dentist. Surgery time is very precious and this allows us to offer the time to someone else. If less notice is received or the appointment is missed the charge is based on the length of the appointment booked.

Altering an appointment with the hygienist
As long as we receive 48hours notice ( excluding weekends and Bank Holidays) we do not charge for altering an appointment with the hygienist. If less notice is given or the appointment missed the full appointment fee is charged.

Products For Sale
We stock many high quality items for oral maintenance and care, many of which are difficult to buy anywhere else. These have been vetted by our team of dentists and hygienists and are available for purchase at below the recommended retail prices. These may be bought by the general public as well as by our own ‘family’ of patients.
